RISK ASSESSMENT

If required, an assessment can be carries out within your home, work, care or school environment. This will enable us to recommend any specific areas which may benefit from suitable aids and adaptations to increase your independence and reduce the risk of accidents, such as falls.

SHADOW ASSESSMENTS

Shadow assessments usually last 12-24 hours. Their aim is to assess the environmental and functional needs of any client. Following the assesment a full report is produced, this will outline recommendations to improve your quality of life and reduce any risk in the environment. It also enables the Neuroactive to recommend a suitable course of ongoing treatment.

24 HOUR ASSESSMENT

24 Hour Assessments are avilable throughout the United Kingdom. During your assessment your NeuroActive phsyiotherapist will review every aspect of your daily routine. A detailed report, including findings, recommendations, referral information, and information of any theraputic techniques taught to your carers will be produuced. Your 24 hour assessment includes teaching of manual handling and theraputic techniques to carers to ensure rehabilitation is built into your daily riutine. 

FALLS PREVENTION

Neuroactive physiotherapists offer a comprehensive Falls Prevention and Falls Management programme to individuals and organisations.

TRAINING

Neuroactive provide training for care-teams, organisations and family members. The types of training include manual handling, therapeutic handling, positioning and promoting independence. The aim is to provide the basic tools of physiotherapy to people who may live, care for or work with any clients who benefit from physiotherapy.

REPORT WRITING

All Neuroactive physiotherapists are able to provide* medico-legal reports, reports and recommendations for "return to work" schemes and reports for other professionals.
