ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is the Chinese art of healing. It involves the insertion of fine needles into specific acupoints with the aim of relieving pain, encouraging healing and improving function. The insertion of an acupuncture needle stimulates the body's immune and healing systems releasing chemicals within the body which help to relieve pain, regulate the nervous system, regulate blood flow and stimulate healing. Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of conditions but is particularly useful in the treatment of pain and muscle dysfunction.
ELECTROACUPUNCTURE

Electroacupuncture is the application of an electrical stimulation through acupuncture needles. Electroacupuncture can be used if patients do not respond to traditional needling, to improve the recovery of muscle function in paralysis and for chronic conditions.
